Culture clash

How's this for contrast: Went to a wedding back home in rural Upstate NY in the afternoon, featuring plastic cups for champagne, a keg of Bud Light as the open bar, and a wedding-cake top sporting a bride & groom in full hunting gear. Then that evening Mom & I dashed over to Saratoga Performing Arts Center for an evening of Tchaikovsky by the Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by the worldly and world-renowned Charles Dutoit and many a portable table covered with candles and fine wine.
